Marcel de Jong (born 15 October 1986 Newmarket, Ontario ) is a Canadian- Dutch footballer.

Club career

De Jong played in his youth in the Netherlands for the VV De Valk. He joined in 1996 in the youth department of PSV Eindhoven. On 20 August 2004 he made his professional debut for Helmond Sport in the Eerste Divisie, the second highest Dutch league. In 2006 he moved to first division club Roda JC Kerkrade.
