Ragnar Klavan (born 30 October 1985 in Viljandi ) is an Estonian football player. His father Dzintar was also a professional footballer and national team of his country.

Career

Clubs

In his youth Klavan played at FC Elva and JK Viljandi Tulevik from his hometown. Here he made ​​the leap to the first team and moved to FC Flora Tallinn, for whom he played one year and Estonian Champion in 2003. In August 2004 he signed a contract with the Norwegian first division side Vålerenga IF from Oslo, for which he was also only one year's activity. In August 2005 he went to the Netherlands to Heracles Almelo, where he played until 2009 95 league matches and scored four goals.
