Marie Ortal Malka

Ortal (* in Israel as Marie Ortal Malka ) is a French singer and participant of the Euro Vision Song Contest 2005.

She began singing at age 16 and performed in bars and restaurants. From 2000, she lived for two years in Spain and joined there the combo Gipsy Sound on. As a largely unknown singer, she represented France in the Euro Vision Song Contest 2005 in Kiev, with the rapid R & B song Chacun Pense à soi (German: Everyone thinks of themselves ) with whom she could only reach the second to last place.
