Mark McCutcheon

Mark McCutcheon ( born May 21, 1984 in Ithaca, New York ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is under contract with HC Bolzano in the Serie A1 since August 2011.

Career

Mark McCutcheon began his career as a hockey player at Cornell University, which he attended from 2003 to 2007 and was active for the team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. With his University team he won the 2005 championship of the ECAC Hockey. From 2007 to 2009, played the center for the Lake Erie Monsters in the American Hockey League, where he parallel played nine games for the Johnstown Chiefs in the ECHL in the 2008 /09 season.

In the 2009/10 season McCutcheon stood at the Idaho Steelheads in the ECHL under contract and scored for the team in a total of 49 games 64 scorer points, including 22 goals. In addition, he stood parallel to the AHL teams Portland Pirates and Manitoba Moose on the ice. The 2010/11 season began the Americans at the Norwegian top club Vålerenga IF, with whom he first took part in the pre-season at the European Trophy and for whom he then scored five goals in the GET ligaen in eight games and had three assists. In November 2010 he moved to the DEG Metro Stars of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. In the season 2011/12 the Americans stood for the HC Bolzano from the Serie A1 on the ice, with whom he won the Italian championship.
