Massacre Records
Massacre Records is a German record label headquartered in Abstatt.
The label was founded in 1991 by Torsten Hartmann. The focus is on bands of the harder kinds of Metal. Connected to Massacre is the distribution and music wholesale Metal Merchant, the sub-label Blue Rose for the singer-songwriter and Americana genre and the music publisher Sylvian Music. 2012 was launched, which the re-release of recordings of famous artists dedicated to Collectors Dream Records with a third label. In addition, Massacre Records distributes albums of the label MCM.
From 1995 to 2000 operational Massacre Records Swanlake a sub-label for gothic metal and folk metal. The best-known published on Swanlake artists were Skyclad, Atrocity, Theatre of Tragedy and Liv Kristine.
