Michal Řepík

Michal Řepík ( born December 31, 1988 in Vlašim, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech ice hockey player standing since June 2012 when HC Lev Prague in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Michal Řepík began his career as a hockey player in the youth teams of HC Sparta Prague, where he ran aground and 2005 in the U18 and U20 Extraliga. In the summer of 2005 he decided to move to North America and one was taken from the Vancouver Giants under contract. For the Giants, he went between 2005 and 2008 in the Western Hockey League on the ice and won with his team the 2006 President's Cup and the following year the Memorial Cup. During this time he was also in the second round than a total of 40 players selected during the NHL Entry Draft in 2007 by the Florida Panthers.

The Rochester Americans, the farm team of the Florida Panthers from the American Hockey League, Řepík took ahead of the 2008 /09 season in their squad. His debut in the National Hockey League for Florida were from the Czech Republic on December 8, 2008 against the Ottawa Senators. However, the majority of the playing time he spent in Rochester. In addition, he was selected in the first draft of the Continental Junior Hockey League in the second round to 27th place from HK Sibir Novosibirsk, which thus secured his transfer rights upon a change in the KHL.

In May 2012, he was hired by the new KHL participants HC Lev Prague.

Internationally

For Řepík Czech Republic took part in the World Youth Championship in 2007.
