Moliets-et-Maa

Moliets -et -Maa (partly also in the spelling Maâ ) is a commune of 1024 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) to 27.7 km ². It is located near the Atlantic coast and is part of the arrondissement Dax in the Landes department in the region of Aquitaine.

Moliets -et -Maa is divided into two parts: the old town center is about three miles inland, nestled in the region typical pine forests. Located along the coast lies Moliets -Plage, the tourist center of the town; it is popular with tourists and beach especially windsurfers and surfers. In Moliets -Plage there are two campgrounds and several bungalows. In addition to the freely accessible everywhere, wide and sandy beach is a golf course with a par 72 18 -hole course and a par 31 9 -hole course. Furthermore, there are several tennis courts, a beach volleyball court and a skate box.
