In the village Videm is the local government as well as shopping centers, cinema or bank. In Predstruge There is a gravel pit and a small train station which is on the railway line from Grosuplje to Kočevje ( Gottschee ). The company Iskra operation here once a work for relays.

At the church of Sveti Anton ( St. Anton ) in Zdenska vas one has the most beautiful view of the valley to the south.

Population

The municipality has a total Dobrepolje 3711 inhabitants, of which 1749 are male and 1795 female. The average age is 38.31 years.

The census of 2002 showed 3396 inhabitants ( 95.8 %) with Slovenian as their mother tongue and 21 inhabitants (0.6% ), with Serbo-Croatian as their mother tongue. In 69 (1.9%) this was unknown. 2868 or 80.9 % of the population are Catholics.
