Central Slovenia Statistical Region

Osrednjeslovenska ( German central Slovenia ), precise Osrednjeslovenska regija is a statistical region in Slovenia at NUTS3 level.

The region, which is intended for statistical purposes, was introduced in May 2005. It comprises a total of 26 municipalities. The largest city is Ljubljana. The total area is 2555 km ². The population is 516 500 (both 2012).
