Action
In the White House, a young secretary is found murdered. The cop Harlan Regis is entrusted with the investigation. First, a male cleaner is suspected of later evidence be found that indicate Kyle Neil, the son of the president, as the perpetrator.
The precipitated President Jack Neil wants to withdraw. Regis is a conspiracy on the track behind the National Security Advisor Alvin Jordan is, who wants to force a resignation of Neil. Regis penetrates into the White House and timely warning of the President.
Reviews
James Berardinelli wrote on ReelViews that the film is next to Absolute Power and The Shadow Conspiracy one of three films that were released within a short time and dealing with conspiracy theories. The film is no worse than the other two, but particularly "absurd" ( preposterous ). Berardinelli also criticized the film contains nothing new.
Roger Ebert wrote in the Chicago Sun - Times on 18 April 1997, the film was well done over long distances, the characters are lively ( vividly ), numerous scenes realistic, some dialogs have a slight touch of irony. He criticized, however, the film is at the end too much an action movie.
