Nahnu Jund Allah Jund Al- watan ( German, we are the soldiers of God and the homeland ') since independence in 1956 the official national anthem of Sudan.
It was written by Ahmad Muhammad Salih and composed by Ahmad Murdschan.

نحن جند الله جند الوطن
ان دعى داعى الفداء لم نخن
نتحدى الموت عند المحن
نشترى المجد بأغلى ثمن
هذه الأرض لنا فليعيش سوداننا
عالما بين الأمم
يا بنى السودان هذا رمزكم
يحمل العبء و يحمي أرضكم
