Nederlandse Christelijke Radio-Vereniging

Nederlandse Vereniging Christelijke radio ( NCRV ) ( German: Dutch Christian Radio Association ) is a Dutch broadcasting company within the Publieke Omroep.

The NCRV was founded in 1924 and is one of the oldest public broadcasting companies of the Netherlands. In the first decades after the foundation of the orientation of the broadcasting company was orthodox reformed ( Gereformeerd ). It focused on the spread of the Gospel and the " strengthening and support" of the Christian part of the population. We have sent among other services and morning devotions.

1967, Evangelical Protestant orthodox Omroep (EO ) was established and the NCRV taught thematically more strongly on people and society. According to its own description, the broadcaster now uses based on their Protestant- Christian tradition of tolerance and mutual sympathy.

2016 NCRV will merge with the broadcaster KRO. The religious broadcasters RKK, IKON and CVC are planning to join the merger.

The TV programs are mainly NCRV but sent today on Nederland 1 and Nederland 3, on Nederland 2. The digital special interest channels Spirit 24 and 24 Best Archival send the NCRV. The radio programs are broadcast on Radio 1 radio 5.
