Action

The 25 -year-old journalist Josie Geller works at the Chicago Sun- Times. Roger Ebert wrote in the Chicago Sun - Times, 9 April 1999, the script was not overly original, but Drew Barrymore fill it with her sunny nature and create an endearing figure. The everyday life of a newspaper is not realistic shown and Kissed not profound, but the movie was funny, generous and engaging.

Awards

Drew Barrymore and David Arquette won for their roles the film award Blockbuster Entertainment Award. Barrymore was also the Kids' Choice Award and a Teen Choice Award nomination for the MTV Movie Award. Leelee Sobieski was nominated for the Young Star Award.
