Nianija
Nianija ( spelling variant: Nianija Kuntaur ) is one of 35 districts - the second highest level of administrative divisions - the West African nation of Gambia. It is one of ten districts in the Central River Region.
According to a calculation by 2013 there live about 9695 inhabitants, the result of the last published census in 2003 was 8205.

According to a survey of 1993 ( former census ), the largest ethnic group of the Fula with a share of about seven -tenths, followed by the Mandinka and the Wolof. The distribution in detail: 17% Mandinka, Fula, 71.8 %, 10.7%, Wolof, Jola 0.2 %, 0.2% Serahule, 0 % Serer, Aku 0%, 0 % Manjago, 0 % and 0 Bambara % other ethnicities.
