Niederlauch

Niederlauch is a municipality in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Prüm.

History

In the year 893 the places Oberlauch and Niederlauch are first mentioned in documents as Luhe freight directory Prüm Abbey. 1684 included Niederlauch a fire pit.

Before 1794 both villages to the Electorate of Trier, Oberlauch to the Official Prum, Niederlauch belonged to the Official Schoenecken.
