Orlenbach

Orlen Bach is a municipality in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Prüm.

Geographical location

The two districts Orlen Bach and Schloßheck located along the southern edge of the Prüm Kalkmulde and south of Prüm on the A 60 The highest elevation is a forest ridge north of the hamlet Orlenbach with 551 meters above sea level.

History

Archaeological finds

Cremations that were found north of Orlen creek in the woods " Debertshecke " and studied in 1930 by the Rheinische Landesmuseum Trier, point to a first settlement in the late La Tène period ( 5th to 1st century BC).
