Nikolay Martsenko
Nikolai Marzenko, also Nicolay Martsenko (Russian Николай Марценко; born May 25, 1993 Krasnoyarsk ) is a Russian auto racing driver. It starts in the Formula Renault 3.5 since 2012.
Career
Marzenko began his motor racing career at the age of eleven years in the Russian amateur touring car racing. In 2008 he finished fourth in the Lada Cup his hometown of Krasnoyarsk. In 2009 he moved to the Formula racing and competed in European Formula 3 series. He each won a race and finished fifth in the Northern Europe and fourth in the Finnish Formula 3 Championship. In addition, he made his debut in 2009 in the German Formula 3 Cup for Jenichen Motorsport. He took part in four races and had no points.
2010 Marzenko went for Max Travin Racing team in the full season of the German Formula 3 Cup at the start. With an eighth place as best result he scored a point and finished 18th in the driver standings. 2011 remained Marzenko the Max Travin Racing Team in the German Formula 3 Cup. With a fourth place as best result he finished the season on top of the twelfth championship course.
2012 moved Marzenko in the Formula Renault 3.5. After the Max Travin Racing Team had there not receive a starting place, he signed a contract with BVM Target. A fifth-place finish in the season opener was his best result. Marzenko finished the season in 20th place overall. 2013 graduated Marzenko his second season in the Formula Renault 3.5 for Pons Racing. With a sixth place as best result he was again 20th in driver standings. With 20 to 8 points, he sat down internally against zoel Amberg. 2014 moved Marzenko within the Formula Renault 3.5 to Comtec Racing.
