Nocera Terinese

Nocera Terinese is an Italian town in the province of Catanzaro in Calabria with 4696 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

Location and data

Nocera Terinese is located 60 km west of Catanzaro in the lower reaches of the Savuto. The neighboring municipalities are Amantea ( CS), Cleto ( CS), Falerna, Lamezia Terme, Martirano and San Mango d' Aquino.

Attractions

Worth seeing is the church of San Francesco, built in the 15th and 16th centuries. The church was built in the Gothic style and has Catalan influences. Other churches are the Church of the Annunziata in the 17th century and the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows. The house Procida has a portal from the 16th century.
