Nußdorf (Chiemgau)

Nußdorf, also referred to as Nußdorf in Chiemgau, is a rural community in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein. It is located between the communities Chieming, Traunreut and Traunstein.

Geographical location

Nußdorf lies in the planning region of southeastern Upper Bavaria in the Chiemgau.

History

Nußdorf 798 first mentioned in the Breves Notitiae. In the 12th and 13th centuries the town was the seat of a powerful noble family. Nußdorf later belonged to the Bavarian Rentamt Burghausen and the district court district of Traunstein. The Neuamerang castle in the municipality part Sondermoning was the seat of a Hofmark, which was bought by Count Franz Guidobald Törring to Pertenstein in 1694. The castle was used in the 18th century as a quarry. Created in 1818 with the municipality edict in Bavaria the community Nußdorf. The 1972 forced management community with Chieming and Seebruck could be achieved again in 1986.

Incorporations

On January 3, 1870, until then independent municipality Sondermoning was incorporated.

Policy

Mayor Johann Gnadl (CSU ). He was the successor of Louis Kroiß ( Independent voter group) in 2002.

The municipal tax revenue amounted to the equivalent of € 961,000 in 1999, which amounted to the trade tax revenues ( net) converted € 145,000.

Religion

The Catholic parish of St. Lawrence Nussdorf is a member of Pfarrverband Chieming. Besides church of St. Nicholas Sondermoning.

Economy, agriculture and forestry

It was in 1998 according to official statistics in the field of agriculture and forestry 6, 180 in manufacturing and in trade and transport 15 persons work at the workplace. In other areas, were employed to social security at the workplace 80 people. Social insurance contributions at residence, there were a total of 764 in the manufacturing sector, there were 12 farms, in construction 2 companies. In addition, in 1999, there were 32 farms with an agricultural area of 774 ha, of which 478 ha of arable land.
