History

The village Vachendorf was first documented in the Breves Notitiae in the year 790. The first documentary attestation of the parish was Vachendorf 1188-1191. Vachendorf belonged to Rentamt Burghausen and the District Court Traunstein the Electorate of Bavaria. The community Vachendorf emerged with the municipality edict in Bavaria in 1818 and went in 1978 with the neighboring municipality of Bergen in administrative matters one, however, has remained an independent municipality.
