History

924 was the first mention of the local part Oberbrunn as " Brunn " in Salzburg document book. 1195 the first church in Pittenhart was mentioned. Created in 1818 in the course of administrative reform by Minister Montgelas State community Pittenhart that was congruent with the parish. The written around 1530/35 Hofmark Oberbrunn was slammed because of the small size of the community Pittenhart. 1846 to 1848 the church was extended in Pittenhart.

Spin-offs

On January 1, 1982, a part of the territory with at that time about 40 residents of the neighboring community Amerang ( Rosenheim ) was ceded.
