The Olympic Highway is a main road in the south of the Australian state of New South Wales. It connects the Mid- Western Highway in Cowra with the Hume Highway north of Albury.

Course

The Olympic Highway branches off in Cowra from Mid- Western Highway to the south- southwest. By Young and Cootamundra, the road continues to the southwest and strikes west of Junee on the Kidman Way ( S85). Together with him, reached the Olympic Highway about 40 km further Wagga Wagga, where he crossed the Murrumbidgee River and the Sturt Highway ( N20) crosses.

In the Summer Olympics 1956, the Olympic flame was carried on the way from Cairns to Melbourne along this road from Cowra to Wagga Wagga. In the Summer Olympics 2000, the flame on its way to Sydney in mid-August on the same route, but in the reverse direction was underway.
