Oschiri

Oschiri ( in Gallura dialect: Oscari ) is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3404 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Olbia- Tempio Sardinia. The municipality is situated approximately 40, 5 kilometers southwest of Olbia and about 20.5 kilometers south of Tempio Pausania. Oschiri is immediately adjacent to the province of Sassari. Through the village flows the Coghinas of an artificial lake ( Lago di Coghinas ) is dammed here and is used to generate electricity.

Traffic

Oschiri is a railway station on the route Cagliari - Golfo Aranci Marittima. Here, the Strada Statale 597 di Logudoro cross Codrongianos to Olbia (also E840 ) and the Strada Statale 392 del Lago Coghinas to Tempio Pausania.
