The Pakistani Rupee (English: Rupee ) is the currency of Pakistan. One Rupee is divided into 100 paise. The ISO code is PKR, in the country itself, the abbreviations Re. (Singular ) and Rs (plural ) is used. In charge of the monetary policy of Pakistan is the State Bank of Pakistan. Until 1961 the rupee was divided into 16 Annas.

In Pakistan are banknotes of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, 1000 and 5000 rupees and coins of 1, 2 and 5 rupees in circulation. Paise coins are no longer characterized due to the low value since 1996 and are no longer useful in circulation.
