History

Perach was in the course of administrative reform in Bavaria in 1818 an independent political community.

After the last municipal election on March 2, 2008, the council has twelve members. The turnout was 85.1 %. The choice was as follows:

Geotopes

  • Dachlwand, a former Inn- baffle. The Inn was until the construction of the railway line Mühldorf - Simbach pressed by the Alz to the north and formed by the huge rocks from; geoscientific value, " particularly valuable ".

Clubs

Sports club

The biggest club in the city is the sports club FC 1960 Perach which is divided into the divisions football, skiing, curling, tennis and table tennis.

The first football team of FC 1960 Perach managed for the season 2006 /07 promotion to the highest Oberbayerische league ( Bezirksoberliga ). Since the 2007/2008 season Perach plays in the district league Oberbayern East. Since 2010, the first men's team plays in the county league.

The table tennis players are playing with three teams in the leagues operating. Here could be won three titles in 2006. The first team plays with it in the 2006/2007 season for the first time at the district level.

Wasserwacht

With more than 300 members of the water rescue one of the biggest clubs and associations at the site. The focus of responsibility is the care of the visitors to the recreation area on Peracher lake. Even in winter the lake is responsible for the water rescue operation while skating on the weekends. In addition, the water rescue from Perach forms with the local group Marktl the SEG ( Quick Einsatzgruppe ) East and also puts out to local operations.

Regular events

Nationally known Perach is through his recreation area ( lake, biking and hiking trails ) and the annual Peracher Lake Festival, which is always in July attracts several thousand visitors.

Personalities

The later Bavarian Prime Minister Wilhelm Hoegner (1887-1980) spent in Perach part of his childhood.
