Peter Arnison

Peter Maurice Arnison AC CVO ( born October 21, 1940 in Lismore, New South Wales) is an Australian soldier and politician.

He made in 1962 at the Royal Military College Duntroon its conclusion. From 1994 to June 1996, he was Commander Country Australia the Australian Defence Force. After he retired from the army to retire.

From July 1997 to July 2003 he was Governor of Queensland.

Before he became Governor of Queensland, he was Managing Director of the company Allied Rubber Products for one year.

He is currently Chancellor of the Queensland University of Technology, the board of several companies and associations as well as director of the Australian Multicultural Foundation.
