History

The place was one of the Urpfarreien the area and included in the Middle Ages up to 60 affiliated churches. As part of the Prince-Bishopric of Würzburg, this was in the Frankish Empire Circle from 1500, Pfarrweisach was secularized in 1803 in Bavaria's favor and then left in 1805, Archduke Ferdinand of Tuscany to form the Grand Duchy of Würzburg in the Peace of Pressburg. Incorporations

On 1 July 1971, until then independent municipality Rabelsdorf was incorporated. On 1 January 1978 Junker village was added to the Weisach. Kraisdorf and Lohr and a portion of the dissolved municipality Lichtenstein followed on 1 May 1978.
