Pontiac Firefly

The Pontiac Firefly was a pre-existing in Canada and in the Middle East car model of the U.S. manufacturer Pontiac.

When Firefly it was a variant of the Suzuki Swift.

The Firefly was introduced in late 1984 in Canada as a successor to the Pontiac Acadian and sold until 1991; 1994-2000 there was a successor of the same name. Sister models of Firefly were the Chevrolet Sprint, the Geo Metro and Chevrolet Metro. 1989 and 1995 were carried out comprehensive facelifts.

Initially, the Firefly was produced exclusively for Suzuki in Japan. From 1990 the production plant in Canada by CAMI, a joint venture between General Motors and Suzuki began.
