Přestavlky (Plzeň-South District)

Přestavlky ( German Peter Heim ) is a municipality with 201 inhabitants in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers north-west of Prestice and belongs to Okres Plzeň -jih. The land area is 983 hectares.

Geography

Přestavlky is 350 m above sea level. M. brook in the valley of Lažanský. To the northwest rises the Křížový vrch (487 m) in the southwest of Jahodový vrch ( 473 m). On the western side of the village, a large pond, which was created Mlýnský fishpond.

Neighboring towns are Černotín in the north, Dnešice in the northeast, Oplot the southeast, Soběkury in the south and Horni Lažany Dolni Lažany and Maškrov in the West.

History

The first written mention of the village dates from the year 1243. Owners of Přestavlky was to the 15th century the noble family Chlumčanský z Přestavlk since that time. Since 1384 the parish church of St. Peter and Paul is detectable. After 1500 was Oldrich Lukavický z Hrádku owner of Přestavlky, the 1527 sold the fortress to Petr Cehnice z Říčan. 1617 acquired William the elder of Klenová the basic rule of infamous Václav Cehnice z Říčan who was feared in the neighboring towns because of its feuds. 1677 acquired the monastery Chotěšov the rule, in that time the parsonage was built.

1740 the abbot of the monastery, Christian Friedrich Schmiedl, build the castle. After the dissolution of the monastery fell to the rule of the religious foundation from which they 1822 the Princely House of Thurn und Taxis acquired.

Community structure

To Přestavlky part of the district Lažany ( Laschan ), which comprises the hamlets Horni Lažany ( Oberlaschan ) and Dolni Lažany ( Unterlaschan ).
