The Route 185 in the eastern Canadian province of Quebec is part of the Trans-Canada Highway system. It runs as an extension of Autoroute 85 to the provincial border with New Brunswick and has a length of 87.4 km.

Route description

The Auto Route 85 ends at Saint -Antonin. She will continue as a two-lane highway to the east. You only leads by three locations, Cabano and Notre- Dame-du -Lac, two districts of Témiscouata -sur -le- Lac, and Dégelis. The other municipalities in whose territory the road extends, were tied by minor country road on Route 185. In Cabano the route meets the Lac Témiscouata, which empties into the Madawaska River. This river, the road follows up to the provincial border with New Brunswick. There it will be continued as Route 2.

Expansion projects

The Autoroute 85 will be further extended and will in the medium to replace the Route 185. Thus, a continuous highway from Arnprior to Ottawa, the Ontario Highway 417 is provided to New Glasgow on Nova Scotia Highway 104.
