Queen's University Belfast

The Queen's University Belfast (Irish Ollscoil na Banríona, Béal Feirste ) was founded as Queen's College, Belfast. Its roots go back to the year 1810. The university has a technical profile and has an extensive technology transfer service. At St. Mary's College teachers are trained.
Today the University has about 1,600 faculty members and 25,000 students.
The Queen's University Belfast is a member of

The Queen's University was one of the few universities that had until 1950 a separate seat in the House of Commons. In addition, it was even suggested to 1968 with four seats in the Northern Ireland Parliament.
