Rally Ireland
The Ireland Rally was first held on 15 November 2007 with a special scoring run in Belfast as a round of the World Rally Championship after the two test events of the year were positively evaluated by the FIA in 2005 and 2006. The course attracted largely by the north-west and north of the Green Island. The special stages were extended in both the Republic of Ireland ( for example, the previous WPs Donegal Rally ) and in Northern Ireland. The rally headquarters were, as expected, in the town of Sligo.
Hazards was mostly on a very undulating asphalt, which caused by the usual wet Irish weather for treacherous road conditions. Thus, the rally from a relatively high failure rate was coined.
