Rodney Gould

Rodney " Rod" Gould ( born March 10, 1943 in Banbury, England) is a former British motorcycle racer.

In 1970, Gould was on Yamaha world champion in the 250 cc class of the Motorcycle World Championship.

Career

Rod Gould made ​​his debut with a fifth place in the Grand Prize of the GDR in 1967 at the Sachsenring on a 500 cc Norton in the Motorcycle World Championship. In 1968 he started then as a regular driver in the 250 cc class on Yamaha and was after three third places fourth in the overall standings. In the 1969 season, Gould reached in the classes to 250 - and 350 - cc six second places and reached the World Cup ranks six and five.
