Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Concepción

The Archdiocese of Concepción (Latin: Archidioecesis Sanctissimae Conceptionis ) is a located in Chile Roman Catholic archdiocese based in Concepción.

It was taken on March 22, 1563 from the territory of the Diocese of Santiago de Chile and established as a separate diocese. On 20 May 1939 the diocese was elevated to an archdiocese.

The Archdiocese is backing the Universidad Catolica de la Santisima Concepcion.
