The Rotterdam Alexander station is a through station, the Dutch railway company NS in the borough Prins Alexander in the Dutch city of Rotterdam. He is after the Rotterdam Centraal Station the busiest station in the city. It lies on the railway line from Rotterdam to Utrecht, this is one of the most important and busiest in the whole of the Netherlands. All passing trains stop at the station.
History
The station was opened in 1968 by the population increase in the district. In 1983, the double-track metro station followed directly below the station, but not underground. Since 1984 is in close proximity to the shopping center Alexandrium. These factors make the station to a major train station for commuters, connecting passengers and passers-by.
