Rubin Rafael Okotie ( born June 6, 1987 in Karachi, Pakistan ) is an Austrian football player. He plays the position of striker at FK Austria Wien.
The son of an Austrian mother and a Nigerian father spent the first four years of life with his family in Barcelona. 1991 the family moved to Vienna via Okotie.

In his club Austria Wien Okotie moved to the beginning of the 2007/08 season in the A-team and thus in the Bundesliga, after he had been for two years playing in the first division ( the second highest Austrian league ) Austria amateurs regulars. In the 2009/10 season, the striker was able to complete only seven appearances for Austria Vienna, after a cartilage damage was diagnosed in the right knee with him in September 2009.
Although he has since played no competitive match, he was obliged to season 2010/11 by nine -times German champions 1.FC Nuremberg. On the final day of the first round he came on as a substitute in extra time to its first use in the German Bundesliga.
After he could not prevail in Nuremberg in the second half, he was awarded in August for the Belgian first division club VV St. Truiden. There he was on the 10th match day, only his third season game, achieve the first goal of the season in the 2:4 defeat against Beerschot AC. But since he did not get the desired match practice, he moved on loan back to his home and signed a contract with first division side SK Sturm Graz. In summer 2012 he moved permanently free transfer to SK Sturm Graz and signed a contract until the summer of 2013.
After one and a half years for locals he returned to his hometown club FK Austria Wien back in the summer of 2013. End of January 2014 Okotie was awarded to the Danish club Sønderjysk elite sport.
National
In July 2006, he reached with the Austrian U-19 selection in the semi-finals of the U-19 European Championship in Poland. In July 2007, this changed only slightly in the player's core team confirmed as an Austrian U -20 team 's success and arrived at the U- 20 World Cup in Canada to the semifinals. Rubin Okotie came in all seven tournament games for use and was able to achieve two goals.
From team manager Karel Bruckner, he was appointed for the first time in the senior squad for the friendly against Turkey on November 19, 2008, where he also was in the starting equal. By 2009, he played four internationals. Because of his knee problems and the weakening performance he was then no longer nominated.
