Russell Martin (footballer)

Russell Kenneth Alexander Martin ( born January 4, 1986 in Brighton ) is a born in England of Scottish football player who is under contract with the English first division club Norwich City since 2010.

Playing career

Wycombe Wanderers (2004-2008)

A native of the youth of his home club Brighton & Hove Albion Russell Martin moved to an intermediate station at amateur club FC Lewes on 1 July 2004 on the fourth division Wycombe Wanderers. After seven league inserts in his first season in 2004 / 05, he won the next three seasons a regular place in defense. In the Football League Two 2007/ 08 reached Martin (44 league games) with his team on the seventh place in the table a place in the play-offs. Peterborough United (2008-2010)
