Saint-Jean-du-Gard

Saint -Jean -du -Gard is a municipality in the Mediterranean south of France in the arrondissement of Alès in the Gard department in the Languedoc- Roussillon region. The community is as head -lieu one of three municipalities in the canton of Saint -Jean -du- Gard.

Geography

The municipality of Saint -Jean -du -Gard is located in the peripheral zone of the Parc National des Cevennes, on the southern edge of the Cevennes, in the valley of the Gardon de Saint- Jean, a right tributary of the Gardon.
