Sandro Schoenberger

Sandro Schönberger ( born January 14, 1987 in Weiden, Bavaria ) is a German professional ice hockey player who is at the Straubing Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract.

Career

Sandro Schönberger plays since the 2002/ 03 season with EC Bad Tölz. From 2002 to 2005 he was active for the Tolz young lions in the DNL, but already completed several games for the Tolz in the 2nd Bundesliga. Since the 2005/06 season the winger was standing in the seniors team of Tolz on the ice. For the Augsburger Panther of the links Sagittarius could make its first appearances in the German Ice Hockey League in the 2006/07 season. In the following season Schönberger was wearing only the shirt of Bad Tölz and was part of the league champion team of 2008. Straubing Tigers committed the native Upper Palatinate at the beginning of the 2008/09 season, with a production license he was also still on for the EC Bad Tölz.

Since the 2009/10 season, he is only in the squad of Straubing. His greatest success with the team was able to record the attacker in the 2011/12 season, as the Tigers reached the semifinals of the DEL. On April 18, 2012 will be contract was extended until 2015.
