Andy Canzanello

Andy Canzanello ( born December 1, 1981 in Rochester, Minnesota ) is an American professional ice hockey player who plays in the German Ice Hockey League for the Straubing Tigers.

Career

Raised in Minnesota Canzanello was the age of 18 for the Green Bay Gamblers in the United States Hockey League active. From 2000 to 2004 he was in the game operation of the National Collegiate Athletic Association in the team of the Colorado College on the ice. There, he made it as a defensive player among the five top scorer of his team.

After years at the College of the links Sagittarius played in the 2004/05 season in the ECHL for the San Diego Gulls and the American Hockey League for the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, two farm teams of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim of the National Hockey League. For the season 2005/ 06 Canzanello moved to the Syracuse Crunch, where he was on the ice for two years. 2006, the American was invited by the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets to a training camp, after which even the German DEL Club Straubing Tigers became aware of the defender. For the 2007/08 season the defender of Straubing was signed.
