Schwepnitz

Schwepnitz ( Upper Sorbian Sepicy ) is a municipality in the Western Lusatia region of Saxony in the north, about 12 kilometers northwest of the city Kamenz and about 35 kilometers north-east of Dresden. It is located between Bern and Koenigsbrueck village. West of Schwepnitz is the Konigsbriicker heath with the former military training area Koenigsbrueck.

History
