Seneffe is a municipality in the Belgian province of Hainaut.

The community is adjacent to the main town Seneffe from Arquennes, Familleureux, Feluy and Petit- Roeulx -lez- Nivelles.

History

During the Dutch War, on August 11, 1674 raged around the room Seneffe the Battle of Seneffe. A French army under the Prince of Condé and an allied army of Spaniards, the Dutch and the troops of the Emperor Leopold I, under the command of William of Orange fought against each other. The lossy battle ended in a draw, both sides complained about the victory.
