Skövde AIK

Skövde AIK is a Swedish football club based in Skövde. The club joined several seasons in the second highest Swedish league.

History

Skövde AIK was founded on 21 June 1919. Originally, the club also had a Department of Athletics, later other departments such as handball, ice hockey were added and others. Since 1990, the association is a pure football club. Its heyday in football saw the club in 1970 when he lost the qualifying match for the highest Swedish league Allsvenskan.

In the 2005 season Skövde AIK rose from the fifth division, Division 3 Mellersta Götaland, on the fourth-rate Division 2 Mellersta Götaland.
