Slaná (Semily District)

Slaná ( German Slana ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located two kilometers south of Semily and belongs to Okres Semily.

History

The first written mention of the village dates from the year 1430. Slaná From 1634 belonged to the reign Semily. 1652 was a division of the place: Slaná - as well as the neighboring Nedvězí - belonged to a pro-rata Semily and Lomnice. 1714 came to the village Bunzlauer circle. After the replacement of patrimonial Slaná in 1849 for the independent municipality in the district Gitschin; since 1868, the village belonged to the district Semil. 1880 was a merger with Bořkov, the council held its meetings in Slaná and the mayor sat in Bořkov. In 1882 the municipality merger was canceled. In the same year the state road from Semily about Slaná and Zeleny was háj after Lomnice. 1923 Nedvězí received a railway station on the railway from Reichenberg to Pardubice after the trains drove by without stopping since 1858. 1925 solved the villages Nedvězí and Hořensko out of the community Slaná. The first bus from Semily to Lomnice drove 1930 Slaná.

In 1953 Nedvězí and Hořensko were incorporated again. Since 1960, Bořkov is a district of Slaná.

Community structure

The municipality consists of the villages Slaná Bořkov ( Borschkau ) Hořensko ( Horschensko ) Nedvězí ( Nedwies ) Slaná ( Slana ) Sutice ( Sutitz ) and Svetla ( Swietla ). Basic settlement units are Blaživky, Bořkov, Hořensko, Nedvězí, Poříčí and Slaná.

The municipality is divided into the Katastralbezirke Bořkov, Hořensko, Nedvězí u Semil and Slaná.
