Srby (Plzeň-South District)

Srby ( German Sirb ) is a municipality with 157 inhabitants in the Czech Republic. It is located about four kilometers northeast of Nepomuk on the Úslava and belongs to Okres Plzeň -jih. The land area is 451 hectares.

Geography

Srby is located 418 m above sea level. M. Brook at a flow loop to the left of the Úslava opposite the mouth of the Čižkovský. Through the village leads the railway line from Pilsen to Strakonice.

Neighboring towns are Ždírec, Myt and Vilémov in the north, Sedliště in the east, and Vrčeň Dvorec in the south and Harvánek and Monastery and the Southwest.

History

The first mention of Srby dates from 1558.
