Stanislaw Tillich

Stanislaw Tillich Rudi (Sorbian Stanisław Tilich; born April 10, 1959 in Neudörfel at Kamenz ) is a German politician ( CDU) Sorbian nationality. Since May 2008 he has been Minister of the Free State of Saxony.

Life

Stanislaw Tillich comes from a Sorbian family. Although his father Rudi Tillich (1929-2007) was himself a Protestant, he raised his son according to the Catholic faith of his mother to a religious traditions of his homeland affiliated practicing Catholics. His father was a member of the local leadership of the SED Panschwitz -Kuckau and was the umbrella organization of Sorbian societies and associations, the Domowina active. Political career

1987 Tillich joined by its own account on his own initiative in the CDU in the German Democratic Republic, which has mitgestützt as a block party the power apparatus of the SED.
