Steve Sutton (footballer)

Stephen "Steve" Sutton ( born April 16, 1961 in Hartington, Derbyshire, England ) is a former English footballer.

Playing career

Nottingham Forest

Steve Sutton made ​​his debut on 25 October 1980 for the English first division club Nottingham Forest, for whom he had previously been already active in the youth academy. Forest won in the two previous years, the European Cup of Champions 1978/79 and 1979/ 80 and was on the goalkeeper position the English goalkeeper Peter Shilton under contract. Sutton had to settle in the episode with the role as a substitute goalkeeper.
