Strange Days is the second studio album by the American rock band The Doors. It was released in September 1967 by Elektra Records. It was taken at number 409 in the list of the 500 best albums of the magazine Rolling Stone.

History

The songs of Strange Days was written as its predecessor already in the years 1965 to 1966. The album was recorded from March to May in 1967 Sunset Sound Recorders in Hollywood ( California). Producer Paul A. Rothchild said:
