Susanna Rahkamo

Tuija Susanna Rahkamo ( born February 25, 1965 in Helsinki ) is a former Finnish figure skater, which was launched in ice dancing.

Biography

Rahkamo is the daughter of former Lord Mayor of Helsinki Kari Rahkamo.

Your partner Petri Kokko and they took part in international competitions since 1986. The first medal they won at the European Championships in 1993; they finished third. Their first World Cup medal she won as third in the World Cup 1994. Were the first medals for Finland in ice dancing.

1995 won Kokko and Rahkamo in Dortmund as the first Finns ever the European Championship. At the World Championships she finished second. In 1995, she ended her amateur career and turned professional bearing. The ice dance married and has two children.

In 2004 Rahkamo was elected president of the Finnish Figure Skating Association.
