Sven Otto Littorin

Sven Otto Julius Littorin ( born May 20, 1966 in Allhelgona socks, Skänninge, community Mjölby ) is a former Swedish politician of the Moderate is samlingspartiet (Eng. The Moderates ) and former Labour Minister of Sweden.

Sven Otto Littorin grew up in Östergötland and studied economics at the University of Lund.

From 1984 to 1985 Littorin Chairman of the Moderate skolungdom, an association within the Moderata was samlingspartiet and worked in the following years in different organizations and companies and served in the army of Sweden. From 1991 to 1993 he was a political secretary and chief of staff of the Minister Bo Lundgren control in the Department of Finance of Sweden. In 1997, he earned a Master of Business Administration and has been a guest lecturer at the Beijing Film Academy. From 1998 to 2000 he was Director of Special Swedish - American Chamber of Commerce. From 2002 to 2006 Littorin was party secretary of the moderates.

Had worked after the election victory of the Alliance for Sweden and the choice of Fredrik Reinfeldt, whose campaign team Littorin, as Prime Minister, he was appointed Minister of Labour. During his time as Minister Littorin were over 4,000 interviews and was in many international meetings such as the World Economic Forum as a guest. On July 7, 2010, he announced his immediate resignation after he was asked by a journalist of the Aftonbladet after an alleged relationship with a prostitute from Stockholm. Prostitution is illegal in Sweden. Littorin the allegations never confirmed and declared the resignation as a result of a smear campaign of the media against him and his family. He stated also private reasons. The whole affair was followed by the divorce of the couple Littorin and a custody dispute over the three children.
